“I’m going to tell you a secret,” one of the second lutinent in charge of the ltc’s whispered to me behind a binder at tdc or ‘training development capability’ for those unknown to army slang.  “We really don’t care whether or not they complete the mission, we just want to see good communication and leadership.  It’s just funny to see them sweat it out.” 

Even for the army, sometimes its the simple things that make all the difference.
