In the past 36 hours I have driven 10,41 miles.  I have locked my keys in my car once, almost twice.  I have killed an accelerator and had a surprise visit with my father.  I have listened to more Justin Bieber than anyone should. As I approached the Brighton/Cambridge exit off of the Mass Turnpike there were tears in my eyes. 

Because that 17-hour car trip was nothing compared to the 2 and a half months I spent in Kentucky.  I have spent more time in a hotel room than anyone ever should.  I have eaten enough fast food that I vomit a little just thinking about Wendys.  I have rappelled off of 50 ft towers, flipped 200lb boats, made slip and slides out of mud, and swung from zip lines.  I have pushed myself and my photography every day and learned that to do so is the most important lesson of all.  I have meet some great coworkers, that turned out to be amazing friends. 

As the cadets said hello to their families on Friday, I could only thing of who and what I would be saying goodbye to as I left Kentucky.
